Seeds constitute a really great addition to a smoothie. They are one of the best sources of Omega 3 and Omega 6, so the essential unsaturated fatty acids. Vitamin E which helps to eliminate free radicals is another key ingredient here.
For some sweet nuttiness, mix hemp, chia and flaxseed, grind and sprinkle generously on top.
Ingredients:
- 1 banana
- 1 apple
- 1 orange
- 1 kiwi
- 3/4 pineapple
- 2 peaches or nectarines
- 2 handfuls of grapes
- 1 cup of mineral water
- 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
- 2 tablespoons flaxseed
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 6 almonds
- Peel the orange, pineapple, kiwi and banana. Wash and deseed the apple and nectarines/peaches.
- Put all the fruits and water in a blender and mix until creamy and smooth.
- Grind the hemp and chia seeds, flaxseed and almonds in a mill.
- Pour the smoothie into the glasses and either sprinkle the ground seeds on top or stir them in to the smoothie.
- Serve and enjoy :)
