Fruit Smoothie with Seeds


Seeds constitute a really great addition to a smoothie. They are one of the best sources of Omega 3 and Omega 6, so the essential unsaturated fatty acids. Vitamin E which helps to eliminate free radicals is another key ingredient here.

For some sweet nuttiness, mix hemp, chia and flaxseed, grind and sprinkle generously on top.

Ingredients:
  • 1 banana
  • 1 apple
  • 1 orange
  • 1 kiwi
  • 3/4 pineapple
  • 2 peaches or nectarines
  • 2 handfuls of grapes
  • 1 cup of mineral water
  • 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
  • 2 tablespoons flaxseed
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 6 almonds
Preparation:
  1. Peel the orange, pineapple, kiwi and banana. Wash and deseed the apple and nectarines/peaches.
  2. Put all the fruits and water in a blender and mix until creamy and smooth.
  3. Grind the hemp and chia seeds, flaxseed and almonds in a mill.
  4. Pour the smoothie into the glasses and either sprinkle the ground seeds on top or stir them in to the smoothie.
  5. Serve and enjoy :)
