Avocado and Dandelion Smoothie


At first, you may feel completely disgusted by the idea of eating weeds. For many of us it’s just the stuff that grows in our garden and what we are desperate to do is to make sure that it is mowed as soon as the grass gets a few centimeters tall.

But, when you start researching the benefits of eating wild food and become reassured that people actually eat weeds, your reluctance slowly turns into curiosity, and then it may become a natural thing.

This smoothie is perfect if you want to give it a go! It’s nutritious, super creamy and really tasty!

Ingredients:

  •           2 avocados
  •           2 kiwis
  •           a large handful of young dandelion leaves, washed
  •           juice of 1 lemon
  •           1 cup of mineral water

Preparation:

Put all the ingredients in a blender and mix until the texture is creamy and smooth. Serve immediately.


The smoothie can be stored for up to two days in a glass jar in the fridge.
