Acne-prone Skin Face Mask

Ribwort Plantain which is the main ingredient here has been known for its healing properties for centuries. Its well-deserved reputation as a wound healer and its commonality encourage more and more people to reach for ribwort and use it as a natural remedy.

Ribwort is great for skin and it helps to relieve the symptoms of acne such as eruptions, inflammation and redness. So, gather some leaves next time you go for a walk, add some oats, grapes and yoghurt and get yourself ready for a night time SPA treatment!

Ingredients:
  • 1 large handful of ribwort leaves
  • 1,5 tablespoons natural yoghurt
  • 1 tablespoon oats
  • a few grapes

Preparation:
  1. Wash the ribwort leaves and the grapes well and put in a tall container.
  2. Add the yoghurt and whizz the mixture to a smooth paste.
  3. Add the oats and leave to stand for at least 30 minutes. The mask will get thick as the oats absorb the water.
  4. Cleanse your face and put on the mask. Leave for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove any excess with cotton pads and then wash your face with warm water.
  6. Dry the skin and apply a moisturiser or Ribwort and Common Sorrel Cream (click).
