Fancy a healthy snack? Nuts are one of the best sources of heart-healthy fats, protein, vitamins and minerals. Ideal for nibbling between main meals.
Ingredients:
- 3-4 cups of mixed nuts and seeds, e.g walnuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds, brazil nuts, etc.
- 1/2 each ground cinnamon, ground coriander, cumin and turmeric
Preparation:
Follow the same instructions as with preparing activated nuts (recipe here). Toss all the spices through the nuts before drying them in the oven.
