Raw Vegan Nutella




No, it doesn't taste like the famous store-bought spread; it hasn't got that creamy and silky smooth texture, and it's not that sweet.

But, I still love it. It's got a dreamy chocolate flavour which is intensified by nuttiness coming from hazelnuts and seeds.

And, it's packed with so much goodness I don't suffer any pangs of conscience just eating it out of a jar ;)

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons flaxseed
  • 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
  • 3 tablespoons hazelnuts
  • 2 heaped tablespoons raw cacao powder
  • 2 heaped teaspoons maca
  • 1-2 tablespoons agave nectar, maple syrup or honey (depending how sweet you want it)
  • 4 tablespoons coconut oil

Preparation:

  1. Grind the seeds and nuts in a mill until you get fine powder.
  2. Melt the coconut oil in a saucepan over a medium-low heat.
  3. Place all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and combine until the mixture is creamy and smooth.
  4. Pack into a glass jar and enjoy any time you want :)

Store in a refrigerator.
